Nike SB x Poets Bruin Shoes

Carrying a distinctive aesthetic with confident voltage green coloured rubber Swoosh ticks against an all black canvas and suede body, these Nike SB x Poets Bruin Shoes have been designed in collaboration with OG team rider and owner of Poets; Gino Iannucci. The majority of the uppers are made from strong black canvas whilst suede overlays across the toe vamp, laces border and heel add extra durability to those key areas. Cotton laces help to keep the foot in place above the cushioned suede tongue which has perforation for ventilation and holds a woven Nike SB ‘Poets’ branded label that wraps around the exposed foam top edge. Throughout the inside a fabric lining has been added alongside a monochrome striped sockliner which features a Zoom Air unit for impact support. Around the back of the heel bold ‘Poets’ lettering has been embroidered in white for a stand out effect that highlights the collaboration. The flexible matte black rubber outsole has a textured surface design and underfoot a herringbone tread pattern delivers quality traction.

Hailing from Long Island, NYC Gino Iannucci has been on the scene since the ‘90s and was one of Nike SB’s first team riders having been signed during the brands inception in 2002. Known for his bold footwear choices, effortless board style and strong push out, Iannucci started the year off strong with his first footwear collaboration with Nike in over a decade. Having relaunched his own streetwear inspired clothing label Poets which reflects his own passions, favourite culture movies and refined style, this decade is set to be a big one for the OG rider.
